The behavior that I’m seeing on the new PC suggests that this CD Info database was not copied over to the new PC. I have read that, at least in older versions of iTunes, there was a CD Info database file that iTunes created on the PC to hold CD information that had been downloaded and potentially modified. However, when I use iTunes on the new PC to view/play a CD that I had previously viewed/played on the old PC, any modifications that I had made to the CD Information on the old PC appear to be missing and iTunes makes a fresh download of the information from the internet. Now select the Music button and check the box Sync Music by clicking on it. Go to the the upper-left corner of the iTunes window, and click your iPod icon to enter its control panel. When launching iTunes on the new PC, all the content (songs, playlists, etc.) from the old PC seems to be in place. Launch iTunes and wait for the program to detect iPod.
